Night sweats, mood swings and reduced sex drive are just a few symptoms of the menopause and they can have a devastating impact on your mind and body. These symptoms will be different for each woman, but it doesn’t mean it’s the end of being a woman.

The menopause is part of your life’s journey and is a time for celebration, as with age comes wisdom. Ignoring the menopause won’t make it go away, so instead understand the changes that are happening to your mind and body. Knowing how the menopause is having an impact on your wellbeing will make the process less daunting and scary.

For women’s overall health and fitness I would recommend Vicki Hill from Women’s Health & fitness. Vicki specialises in supporting women from pregnancy, postnatal and the later stages of womanhood. She also runs a great programme called ‘Everything Menopause’.
